• Non-Commercial Educational Intent: ManualzHub does not claim ownership or exclusive publication rights over third-party registered trademarks, logos, brand names, or original manufacturer documentation referenced on this site. All trademarks, registered logos, and brand names belong to their respective corporate owners (e.g., Cummins, Caterpillar, Perkins, Deep Sea Electronics, Stamford, Woodward, etc.).

Required Information for a Valid Notice:

1. Identification of the Copyrighted Work: A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works are covered by a single notification).
2. Identification of the Infringing Material: Specific identification of the material or link claimed to be infringing, including the exact URL(s) on manualzhub.com where the material can be located.
3. Contact Information: Your full name, title, organization (if applicable), mailing address, telephone number, and professional email address.
4. Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law (e.g., “I have a good faith belief that the use of the material described above is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”).
5. Accuracy & Accuracy Penalty Statement: A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner (e.g., “I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.”).
6. Physical or Electronic Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

Note: To ensure rapid processing, DMCA requests must be submitted by email with all required fields completed. Incomplete or improper notices will not trigger processing under DMCA guidelines.

5. Takedown Timeline & Process

Upon receipt of a valid, fully compliant DMCA Notice:

1. Acknowledgment: ManualzHub will acknowledge receipt of the notice within 24 to 48 business hours.
2. Verification & Removal: ManualzHub will review the URL(s) and remove or disable access to the specified material within 3 to 5 business days.
3. Alternative Link Placement: Where appropriate and upon request by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), ManualzHub will replace the direct file download link with an outbound hyperlink directing users to the manufacturer’s official public support page or manual portal.

6. Counter-Notification Procedure

If a user or content contributor believes that material removed from ManualzHub was removed by mistake or misidentification, a written Counter-Notification may be submitted to our Copyright Agent.

A valid Counter-Notification must include:

1. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the URL where it previously appeared.
2. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
3. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
4. A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if outside the United States, any judicial district in which ManualzHub may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification.
5. Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receipt of a valid Counter-Notification, ManualzHub will forward a copy to the original complaining party. If the original copyright owner does not file a court action seeking a court order against the content provider within 10–14 business days, the removed material may be restored at ManualzHub’s discretion.

7. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, ManualzHub reserves the right, in appropriate circumstances and at its sole discretion, to block, suspend, or terminate the access of users, authors, or contributors who are deemed to be repeat infringers of copyright content.

Implementation Instructions for Your Website

1. Create a Dedicated Page: Create a new page on your WordPress or website backend with the URL path /dmca/ or /copyright-policy/.
2. Footer Placement: Add a direct link titled “DMCA / Copyright” to your global website footer alongside your Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
3. Update Email: Replace copyright@manualzhub.com with the actual monitored email address where you receive website inquiries.
