ManualzHub collects the minimum data needed to run the site and respond to you. Here’s exactly what that is.

What we collect

Form submissions: if you use the Contact, Request a Manual, Submit a Manual, Takedown Request, or Report an Issue forms, we collect whatever you enter (typically name, email, and your message/request).
Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand traffic in aggregate (pages visited, general location, device type). This is anonymized/aggregated usage data, not tied to your identity.
Cookies: used for basic site functionality and by Google Analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser at any time; the site will still work, though analytics may be affected.

What we don’t collect

We don’t require an account to browse or read manuals, and we don’t collect payment information directly — donations are handled entirely by our donation platform (Ko-fi/Buy Me a Coffee), under their own privacy policy, not ours.

How we use this data

Form data is used only to respond to your request (e.g., following up on a manual request or a takedown notice) and is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing. Analytics data helps us understand which manuals and categories are most useful, so we know what to prioritize sourcing next.

Third-party services

Google Analytics, our form plugin (WPForms), and our donation platform (Ko-fi/Buy Me a Coffee) each operate under their own privacy policies for the data they process on our behalf.

Data retention

We keep form submissions as long as needed to resolve your request, plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping (e.g., takedown request records, per our Copyright Policy).

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing contact@manualzhub.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally; the current version always applies, with an updated date.
